Two Gestalt therapists discuss the importance of transparency in creating an authentic connection in the therapeutic relationship. 

This episode features special guest Anna Tanalska-Duleba from Warsaw, Poland.

Anna Tanalska-Duleba is a Psychotherapist and Supervisor in Warsaw, Poland. She  is one of the founders and a member of a team or Pracownia Terapii i Rozwoju [Psychotherapy and Development Studio; www.pratir.pl] w Warszawie. She studied
physics and graduated in philosophy in Warsaw University. She is a graduate of the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Los Angeles’ European program. 

She has 46 years of experience in individual, family and group therapy. She also supervises and teaches therapists in Poland and abroad (Lithuania, Scotland, Australia, Ukraine).

She likes the most to work with big families and she offers workshops on
this mode of working. Her special interest in psychotherapy is a therapist’s presence and the role of language in therapy.

Except of being psychotherapist and supervisor she translated books from Russian and English into Polish (amongst other she translated quite a few books by Irvin Yalom).

Stephanie Goldsmith, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner and Clinical Director at Goldsmith Psychological Services where she provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy as well as post-graduate supervision to associate clinicians.  Some of her specialty areas include trauma, dissociation, interpersonal relationships, eating disorders, LGBTQI issues, and whole person care. 

​Stephanie is a Certified Gestalt Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, is trained in EMDR and EFT “Tapping”, and has completed certificate training in Emotion Focused Couple’s Therapy. She is the Co-Director for Gestalt Associates Training, Los Angeles (www.gatla.org) and she also provides Gestalt clinical consultation via teleconferencing to therapists all around the world. 

In addition to her work in private practice, Dr. Goldsmith is an Associate Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University.
