Three Gestalt therapists discuss the theoretical concept of Field Theory and its applications to clinical practice. 

This episode features guests David Narang, PhD and Sheri Rose-McCashin, LMFT.

David Narang, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist in private practice on the west-side of Los Angeles.  He works with adults and teens with depression and anxiety and he works with couples.  Dr. Narang is trained in multiple psychotherapies, but his theoretical home is with Gestalt, and he has been with GATLA since 2001. He is married with two sons, and in his spare time he enjoys playing his saxophone, riding his bike in the hills, and finding a good tree to meditate under. 
 
David is a Certified Gestalt Therapist and is a member of the faculty at Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles.

Sheri Rose-McCashin, LMFT is a therapist in private practice on the west-side of Los Angeles.  She works both individuals and couples as well as with professionals who seek a better understanding of themselves and how to effectively deal with symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties. In her free time she enjoys pop culture, current national and international affairs, gardening, cooking, time with friends and family, nature hikes, movies, theatre and involvement in her local community and neighborhood. Even though she enjoys being active she also finds it essential to take time to reflect, think, feel and be.

Sheri is a Certified Gestalt Therapist and is a member of the faculty at Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles.

Stephanie Goldsmith, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner and Clinical Director at Goldsmith Psychological Services where she provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy as well as post-graduate supervision to associate clinicians.  Some of her specialty areas include trauma, dissociation, interpersonal relationships, eating disorders, LGBTQI issues, and whole person care. 

​Stephanie is a Certified Gestalt Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, is trained in EMDR and EFT “Tapping”, and has completed certificate training in Emotion Focused Couple’s Therapy. She is the Co-Director for Gestalt Associates Training, Los Angeles (www.gatla.org) and she also provides Gestalt clinical consultation via teleconferencing to therapists all around the world. 

In addition to her work in private practice, Dr. Goldsmith is an Associate Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University.
